Good win tonight.
Nothing really to complain about.
You can tell this team knows what they need to work on to get better.
2 games left in December and with 2 more wins, Miami will be undefeated in December.
It's been a while since that happened in Coral Gables.

We made the final 4 three years ago. And the elite 8 four years ago. So… it’s not been very long since much greater success than an undefeated December.

may have been my favorite win of the year as it was a back and forth game and we haven’t had one of those that resulted in a win. Nice win against another team who I think will be competing for their conference title

FIU can really shoot. This is the kind of team that gives P4 teams trouble because you defend well for 20-25 seconds, and FIU hits a 3. We see this play out every March in the 1st round of the NCAA tournament.

Obviously real glad to see Shelton not only play in this game but play quite well... but we really need the Allens back by conference play. Otherwise there is no one beyond the 8 players
that got minutes tonight that can provide any quality minutes in ACC play (and that is being somewhat optimistic with Altuntas and Dovrat, who you could argue aren't going to be able to contribute in ACC play).

Other than the lack of quality three point shooters (still a bit skeptical on Malovic given his form, but maybe he can get to a Sam Wardenburg level of consistency), the lack of depth is definitely my biggest concern going forward.

Got a little down on these guys after BYU but credit to them for winning all of the games that they should've won so far.

Jai and staff really make good second half adjustments. I love it. He is better than I thought.

I still think they're learning to play together. There were several breakdowns last night, particularly on defense. I will say this, they've got the alley-oop figured out. Nice to have an imposing inside presence.

Wasn't one of our higher energy games. FIU beat us to most of the loose balls, we coulda had more Defensive rebounds but ... I'll take it.
Not an excuse but the arena has been completely dead for many of these games, especially with the students on break. Hopefully attendance increases for ACC play and we can get some energy in the building. This team deserves it.
