Miami to Big12

We lost the game. WRs and LBs stunk. I found myself pondering whether Baker was better than Lashlee.

but that offsides on Roche topped off with a targeting for tackling their QB

every. Single. Game.

we need to leave the ACC

The Big 12 teams would score 60+ on this defense no thanks.

If the Big 12 checks are greater than the ACC checks then maybe Miami might consider leaving. This program is run on the cheap to pad bank accounts.

Let’s say hypothetically that the ACC feels “got” by UM. Tin foil hat on here.

UM ran through the Big East on its way to 5 National Championships and multiple conference titles and bowl game wins. UM biggest rival FSU was dominating the ACC. ACC say well hey if we get UM in the same conference as FSU and throw them in The Coastal and FSU in the Atlantic we have something cooking here. for ***** and giggles we will throw VT in to the coastal to challenge UM a few times a decade for a division title. If UM held and to an extent FSU held they end of the bargain ACC would be getting SEC hype right now.

UM returns the favor by stinking up the joint for the last two decades. UM administration saw that check from the ACC and “ran off on the plug”. Maybe the ACC is gone keep ******** UM over until UM pays back the debt and win a national championship or ACC championship like they brought in to do. Just my opinion

There was a study a few years ago of refereeing in different conferences. Normally you would think that calls might go in favor of whoever were the powers of the conference at the time. And that generally was the case in all conferences save one.

The ACC's referees calls favored the traditional core members of the conference, regardless of record. So in a sense, the honor and viability of the original member programs could be judged as the higher priority than actually getting a team to the national championship game. So let's flip the script and say that Miami has Clemson's talent, and they are going up against a mid-level North Carolina in a hypothetical ACC title game this year. If Miami wins, they are in the NC tournament. If they lose, no one from the ACC gets in. The referees would favor North Carolina, even at the financial cost to the conference, because the original members are the most important.

If true, that's really screwed up, and the only reason that I could think that Miami, Va Tech, or any other new arrival would want to shift conferences.

Stop with the refs and the conference.

We just haven’t been good. Period.

The ACC did everything they could to cater to Miami when we first joined...and since all we’ve been is their 5th or 6th best team on any given year they’ve moved on.

I also get tired of the ACC pushing average players, sometimes below average, into certain positional groups every recruiting cycle Not just players, but also so many half *** coaches onto the staff.

Ok please tell me after this investigation that some over sight was added and this was fixed? @SFbayCane said that at one time or still do that the acc has conference administrators in the replay booth. I asked him if that’s still the case and hoping to hear back from him because I can’t believe that would be allowed by the university’s. If that’s not max level corruption I don’t know what is.

Acc is disgusting to us. Roche was offsides but you notice they didn’t throw a flag until it looked like an int
