Miami has landed its top interior offensive line target, securing the commitment of Alabama native Jatori Williams.

A 6-foot-5, 340-pound lineman from Phenix City, Ala., Williams brings power and physicality at the guard position.

Previously committed to Alabama before decommitting in January, the four-star prospect brings a pure guard profile — taking up space in the interior and mauling opposing rushers.

A multi-sport athlete in basketball, the athletic traits translate as he moves his feet well for his size and maintains balance throughout.

His profile is reminiscent of former Miami guard and Alabama native Anez Cooper, driving the opposition into the turf with a point to prove as he gets upfield.

Williams was crystal balled to the Hurricanes last month with a commitment date set for tomorrow, May 22, but decided to push it back last week. However, the staff continued to work and not only got it over the line, but got it done early as he picked the Canes over the likes of FSU, Auburn, Kentucky and Georgia.

Williams joins Sean Tatum as Miami’s interior offensive lineman for the 2027 class, joined by tackle Tyler Ford.

The Hurricanes are now up to 14 commitments this cycle, and five top-100 players so far — three coming this month with Donte Wright, Ai’King Hall and Williams.

This number could possibly grow with Miami LB target AJ Randle announcing his commitment later tonight.

Listen to CanesInSight’s full breakdown of Williams before his commitment below:

we could use him at guard, reminds me of freshman Aniz cooper, who as a massive unit uprooting interior defensive linemen, something we are currently lacking.

We need to keep this kid. He may come right in and take a guard spot

I would be more concerned if he was at the Bama game. Auburn isn’t good. Golesh got a ways to go before he can get those guys competitive.

This is the body types we need at guard not sj

Golesh is a bum

Don't do it kid

this is disappointing

We need to keep this kid. He may come right in and take a guard spot

If we lose him earmark his money for a starting vet oline in PORTAL.. We need to rebuild the oline NOWWWW.. We cant wait for freshman to develop in 3 years..

Eh, right down the street from him. Nothing to worry about yet IMO, and I bet the staff has already talked with him. We must keep this one.

Auburn probably paid big for this visit and he doesn't live too far. Plus doesn't seem too pleased in the pic at all. As long as he doesn't OV there I wouldn't worry

Kid visited fsu three times in four months then didn’t include them in his top 8. Not stressing it

Kid just picking up a little walking around money….

He is day 1 plug and play at G

Bro is a day 1 plug a play guard. Gotta retain him.

Kid no doubt has day 1 guard potential next year, but even if so...........go get me a starting T and C in the portal next year f*** taking chances and waiting for any development

Not many day 1 olineman.. why would we want that.. Find the '25 version of him and back channel please, start yesterday. #PortalVetVersionInstead

Sj is the cory flagg of OL when it comes to body type.

SJ never met the size requirements for OL here. They took him despite that as a center. The fact that he can’t snap the ball doesn’t mean he should play guard. He needs to figure out snapping, or go play guard at a lower level.

Our OL coaching can get all benefits of the doubt, but they are dead wrong with what they are doing here.
