Miami sections at ND

Fellow Canes, after the Spring Game and reading the (mostly) positive reactions, I guess I am drinking the Kool-Aid. I want to plan a trip to see us beat the Irish in South Bend.

What sections are gonna be full of Canes fans?

We are planning to travel from Kansas and hoping to find ourselves around several other Miami fans. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help me navigate this trip!

If I missed a thread that addressed this previously, I apologize.

The simple answer is "we don't know right now".

You could either ask around on the ND boards about which sections they usually reserve for away fans, or you could wait until Miami fans get ticket assignments. Other than that, I'd just be guessing right now, and I've been to plenty of away games (though NOT Notre Dame yet).

Thank you! I am new to this so I appreciate the straightforward response.
 
Think those that want tickets will be able to? Or will this be a problem.
 
Unless a change is made in expected allocations, Hurricane Club members should be able to buy away game tickets, and they come out in July.

I sat 50 yard line about 20 rows up in a sea of domers when we traveled to South Bend with Richt.

You won't go wrong anywhere in that stadium even if you end up isolated from fellow canes, second in hospitality only to the children of the corn in College Station.

I mean, when is it ever anything than the visiting side corner by the end zone?

I couldn’t disagree with you more. You must’ve just got lucky.
 
Visitors are near the South End Zone tunnel. I believe sections 115 or 116 as I have looked and asked. It has been a long while. I have heard visitors can cover as far as 119, but I don't expect us to get near that many. I will be waiting like OGC mentioned.

I got stuck in a patch of ND fans for the opener last season. They were pretty cool and chill tbh. I think it was a combination of them being kinda shell shocked by how modern our stadium was (you know these away fans are fed nothing but propaganda about HR and how it sucks) and the fact that we were pushing them around. But overall, they were really nice. Nothing like their online fan base.

I did not go to Aggieland. And I did not go to the Richt era game. But dealing with Notre Dame fans in South Bend in previous games as well as just encountering ******** in Chicago would not make me speak highly of that fan base but then again I also ******* despise that team.

Now, if you wanna talk about Nebraska, I would agree with you

Chicago is worse than south bend
