Miami running up the score

UM had all backups in and ran 10 times in a 12 play drive. This isn't even close to poor sportsmanship. Regardless, times have changed. The CFP committee is using computer rankings and other metrics and data points (like results against common opponents) to determine whether UM qualifies for the playoff. There is a minimum of $4 million to $14 million in additional revenue at stake. You absolutely keep scoring until the game is over.

I was at that game and PLEASE ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISONS TO WHAT MARIO DID!
I respect your opinion. But it is incorrect. And you being in attendance is irrelevant. We ran up the score in both games, and we need to do that because unfortunatly a large segment of voters do not watch the games. Whether we like it or not, margin of victory is a factor.

Most teams do take a knee when you can run out the clock on the last play or two, but it shouldn't be a big deal either way. Stanford has massive resources. A $37 billion endowment? Their alumni are loaded, and if the school has a non-competitive football team, it's their choice.

Nation whining about running up the score can only be a great thing, zero downside.

You shouldn’t respect his opinion. He’s a troll and a ***.

I prefer running up the score in comparison to Mario’s preferred method of running down the score late..
