Miami must drop Adidas — immediately

I’m sure you’ve heard: (Kan)ye West is spewing vile antisemitic rants based on tropes about ****** money and power that go back millenia. He refuses to apologize. Reportedly, he wants to buy a social media network, Parler, and you can imagine what he’d do with that.

I’ve never heard this kind of poison from a major celebrity before — or at least not in recent years. Or maybe they thought it but didn’t say so publicly.

But this is dangerous stuff. Companies are cutting him off but Adidas is staying silent.

Our university must not be silent about this. It must end its relationship with Adidas right now.

I know this is a sports web site but Adidas supplies our athletes.
