We would need the entire Rockies. Howard has to make the list because he started it all. However, you cannot leave The Stork off, since he is probably the single best ever. After that it is a feast of plenty in the land of milk and honey. Crap if you just tried to pick the two or three greatest Miami TEAMS there is a fight. Could we even agree on best five units in general -- Dline, LBS, QB .... Even the article was wrong: Dennis won the most NC's not JJ. Imagine a team of such great players and JJ is at best the third coach? Lord, it is great to be a Miami Hurricane!!! Here's a thought, let's throw Ole St Bobby up there -- I mean is anyone more responsible for our fame than his never ending chokes? salt in noles' wounds.

Crediting Dennis for the 89 national title is like crediting Coker for the 01 title. Even the 91 team was mostly JJ's recruits.

Both were all three, as well as JJ's one, were Butch's recruits for the most part(he was JJ's recruiting czar). I love JJ, but he lost two NC he should have won with Heisman QB because he couldn't coach Bowl game at high level yet -- and both to the same bs defense(which was not very different from the crap Golden brought here). Dennis did win with a new QB. This is THE U and the ring means everything. IF we credit the recruiter then Howard gets one and Butch gets the other four. Don't get me wrong, I never like Dennis or his offense and he should have one 3 also. Truth is, JJ, Dennis, and Coker left at least 4 NC's on the table. That is how good our talent was.
