Still a lot of time left for him and I think he's decently open. Going to take a massive recruiting effort against some of the top powers in the country to pull him all the way from the west coast, so obviously the chances aren't high at this point.

I've always said, the keys for out of state 5-stars and Miami are: win big and official visit. Neither has happened yet, so still a lot to be determined.

That said, he hasn't visited all of the schools in his top 12, but he did visit Miami, he's clearly comfortable living in/near a big city, early playing time is a factor, and he's already committed to an official visit in the future (Although that could obviously change). There's very clearly some level of interest here.
I was with you until us having to pull him all the way from the west coast. If USCw weren't down like they are, maybe! IMO, kid's recruitment runs through Klansville, even though Mario will give them a run for their money. No really!

If our competition is the West, we have a chance....like a real good chance. If the South starts to get involved, that's where our issues can and will be a problem.

Why in the world do they have Washington so high? Dudes film ain’t it and neither are his testing numbers....

I disagree on "excellent cover skills". He has decent cover skills but he has many problems in his technique an just doesnt have the upside athletically to ignore those problems and rank him high. He's a great player and a CANE but he is a better safety.

Didnt he have like 12 picks?

Who's in charge of their rankings? This is ridiculous
Who cares. I want to see someone go to Manny and tell him he should make his evaluations from Rivals, 247, ESPN on who he should recruit rather than he and his coaches. Those organizations factor in what they believe to be best for their subscriptions. If they thought giving a 5:09, 190 lb left tackle the first six star player rating ever because they thought it would get them 2M new subscribers they would. Please remember these rating compnies make their money from subscriptions and adds. CFB coaches make their money from success on the field.
