These were just some of the major significant stats from the players who played the most throughout the season...

If you see any incorrect stats let me know & I'll change'em.

Sidenote: One thing that is clear (among many other things), this Defense is basically missing a true Ballhawk in the secondary, we need way more INT's.

It also puts into perspective how well the defense performed overall despite not having one.

Once we get a ballhawk either at Safety or CB, I think this Defense will reach Elite status under El Jefe.

I agree. We need more picks and we lost that 4 front pressure towards the end of the season. Need more depth but none the less the bass of this defense is lethal.

Gonna bump this thread, so you guys can see our guys stats & see how the ACC voters absolutely ****ed a couple of our players with their voting for the All ACC team.

RJ & Shaq got it the worst... Shaq was at least HM, but should've been 3rd team...
RJ should've made the 2nd team.

Njoku averaged 17+ ypc as a TE. Insanity.

Also - Can Kendrick Norton get some love? 10 TFL as a DT - did we have 10 TFL the last 3 years from our DTs?

I'll say it, I haven't seen collective DT play this good at Miami in two decades. Seriously.

Lol, Dorito didn't allow TFLs by Dlinemen. We were supposed to make tackles downfield.

Walton is not Willis or Portis or Gore, or Edge, but behind a **** OL, he had a good season...as a sophomore. And, despite what some say, he is (and was) better than Yearby (who was solid). If the OL improves I think Walton could have a breakout season next year (1500 yards), which is saying something since he'll finish this one with over 1,100 yards and at least 15 total TDs.

Keep in mind, all these stats will be increased after the Bowl game too...

Shaq will end up with 80+ tackles...

Appreciate the work, but ****, we already knew our guys got the shaft. And I haven't heard a single person act surprised about it. Just another day in Miami.

Who was our last true ball hawk? Rolle? Phillips?

Artie Burns is the only guy who really ended up with a lot of INTs in a single season here since Taylor. Rolle didnt have much (I think one in 2004) and neither did Kenny Phillips outside of like a 3 INT game against Duke or something weird like that.

U are correct... Phillips didn't have that many but I guess I'm confusing playmaker with ball hawk. Burns was good, but I can't put him in ball hawk category.... That's for people like reed, Taylor, and Buchanan (who was the epitome of ball hawk)
