I thought it might make for an interesting look back to see what the roster compositions were like for previous head coaches as they entered their second year, traditionally called the "Bump Class" in recruiting. And while Golden brought in a good class, he was in large part hampered by NCAA investigation that began seven months before National Signing Day. Interesting to see that almost the entire cornerback room were freshmen (and Finnie was only a second year player).

yikes, that's scary to look at
On paper it was the weakest roster in several decades. We had exceptionally high levels of attrition in the 2010 and 2011 classes, and the 2011 class (again on paper) had only a couple of blue chip players.
