I went to college in NJ (in 1972), my nickname was "Flip" because of the Dolphin memorabilia decorating my dorm room. They laughed when I said we had a darn good team. When we got to 17-0 they licked my fins...

One story that I will always remember about the 72 Dolphins was... minutes after the Patriots lost Super Bowl 42 and went 18-1, one dude entered that VIP area that is right at the tunnel where the players walk thru to get into the locker room.

The dude kept yelling "72 Dolphins" at every player that went by. Welker, Seau, Moss, Vrabel, you name them. Heres the video:

I dont even want to know how much these players were holding back.
