Not sure when this snapshot was published. But I went back and checked the final rankings, and we had 7 of the Top 10 ACC commits for 2026.. We're starting to put serious distance between us and the rest of the conference in terms of talent.

  3. Russell #63
  4. Burroughs #68
  5. Kennon #70,
  6. Mueller is composite #74

Congdon, who will likely start as a true freshman, was criminally underrated as a recruit imo.

Was he D$'s six star, or was that Joel Ervin?

I agree with you he's a talent and will definitely be a starter barring injury at some point. I don't think either him or Ervin start this year, though. Maybe seeing action in blowouts in the first half of the year and part of a rotation by the playoffs. Maybe. OL is usually a grown man's position. Hercules and Cece are the uber exceptions.

I agree with you he's a talent and will definitely be a starter barring injury at some point. I don't think either him or Ervin start this year, though. Maybe seeing action in blowouts in the first half of the year and part of a rotation by the playoffs. Maybe. OL is usually a grown man's position. Hercules and Cece are the uber exceptions.

Idk if you can play 5 and rs, these guys get shirts. But some hella clay to mold.

It's 5 years no matter what now, no hardship or injury exceptions or redshirts except for military duty. I want to play with more up tempo and rotate players significantly more. I hope we're playing Meriweather, SJ, Wilkerson, Campbell and Minaya and all the freshmen as much as possible.

We had 66.4 plays per game on offense last year, 70.9 in 2024. We ran the clock down to 1 second on many plays before getting the snap in, and Ward sat back in the pocket and scrambled a ton to extend plays in 2024. I think we can and should get that up to 75 this season..

Yeah I don’t see Mario starting two true freshman Game 1 on the OL. IMO the line will be Cantwell-Samson-Rodriguez-Buchanan-McCoy week 1. By the end of the year, maybe.
