It really is. And hiring Manny was the nail in the coffin. He's not going anywhere either. So we can forget that dream. In the meantime he'll destroy the program.

We return a lot of starters next year no matter how many players transfer. So Manny will win enough games to keep his job by default. He won't recruit worth a ****, or fire ANY of the unqualified bartenders he's hired. As the recruiting misses continue to pile up, the roster's talent level will continue to deteriorate until the job is viewed as a multi year rebuild.
 
Yep we'll never be back. We couldn't afford to miss on this coaching hire and we sure did. Think about all our coaching hires since Butch. No one has coached at a power five school after being terrible here. Coker Shannon golden and now Manny. The new Miami was our last desperate hope to revive the program.

Probably. We can’t compete in today’s CFB environment for many reasons.

I found myself arguing all week about the Cali pay for play law and how it would ruin CFB and be the end of Miami Hurricanes football. Now, I find myself saying **** It, let’s see if maybe pay for play can do something for us. Can’t possibly hurt!

Nebraska is in a much better position than us. They’ve got a huge fan base and money. We’ve got neither of those.

I'm not even from Miami but I root for the Canes like I am. This s*** hurts to see a school that basically created the NCAA rule books go down the drain. Anyone say anything negative about the Canes around me might get that Rick James slap!

I have tickets to Louisville for my kids' first game. That's the last dollar the athletic program will get from me. No more merchandise, nothing. Sorry, Miami, but it's time we had some time apart.

Thanks for freeng up my Saturdays for the foreseeable future.

Nebraska will be back someday. So will Tennessee. Us? Not a chance with our clueless administration. Whole school is a ####ing farce.
