Miami football did crack the Week 2 Coaches Poll rankings.

The Coaches Poll revealed Tuesday afternoon, that the Hurricanes (1-0; 0-0) were slotted at No. 15 in the second Coaches Poll rankings of the season after taking down Florida on the road over the weekend 41-17.

Seems a little light, but I kinda like it. Move up a bit at a time and Mario will find it easier to keep up the motivation.

Most of the teams above us play each other. Keep winning and we will continue to move up even on weeks when we play a chump team.
 
15 is about what I expected. Not at all concerned with polls and rankings because we will get plenty of opportunities to prove ourselves and move up. However as I understand it, as long as we win the ACC the polls are moot as the winner of each P4 conference get an automatic 1st round bye in the 12 team playoff. Still I would much rather go 13-0 than 10-3/11-2.

I was gonna say, you could go unranked and win the ACC and you're in.
