I could imagine the bottom NFL teams right now having to over draft a QB in next years draft. I would not be comfortable as a fan of a team picking a QB. I dont like any of them coming out to be like a number 1 overall pick. Sucks to be a Jet fan or any other team looking for a QB. They better do their homework big time, who knows there might be someone in next years class that may surprise.

Right but coming out of HS you could see why when was a 5star is my point. So the idea of he was a 3star he wouldn't be viewed like this is irrelevant. He was a 5star for a reasonable reason. He has the physical attributes you want. If you believe you can get the mental aspect of his game there then you think you potentially have a franchise guy.

I'm just saying in NFL imo it's a little different than college. In college you only generally have 2-3 years of a guy starting for you. Having a high floor and being a "gamer" is more important. In the NFL you are trying to hit on a 10+ yr franchise guy. If you don't see that ability in the QB what is even the point of taking them in the 1st round? Everyone is going to have issues, but to me it makes a **** of a lot more sense going with the experienced guy that has a good to great arm and the ideal build than a guy with like 1yr starting experience that doesn't have the size or potential you'd like that is a "safer/higher floor" player.... Like for instance Anthony Richardson was obviously a bum. But I was saying I'd rather take the shot on him than Will Levis when everyone was hyping Levis up. Cause ultimately Richardson at least had potential/hope that you could turn him into something. And if much rather swing for the home run than the double in the NFL. I thought he'd be a bust, but if you need a franchise QB you gotta try to get them.

Like if I'm an NFL team I'm drafting Sellers/Jalon Daniels/etc higher than some of these guys just purely based on hopium.... Hitting on a fringe top 25-32 guy is basically pointless

Allar is a bum. Fk outa here bout big arm. Cristobal aint bringing him here. Dawson knows what he is looking for, and its people with mental capacity to see whats going on pre and post snap. Throwing the ball 75 yards is nice until its going back for 6.

This is coming from someone who's met Allar and knows his parents (just ran into them last week).

This was a missed eval on a number of levels, particularly when you look at the offense he ran in highschool. Despite the physical attributes he has, he was too underdeveloped to be considered a 5* imo.
