Saturday afternoon marked the final time the ’Canes baseball team would play at home this year and the final regular season game for the squad. They matched up against Notre Dame in a rubber match that would prove key for standings heading into the ACC tournament, and with all that pressure on this game Miami simply fell flat, falling 12-2 to Notre Dame.

Despite the final score looking bleak, this was a game that Miami should’ve been much closer in. Mix a combination of poorly timed walks...

JD needs to go. Going 1-5 over the last six with a great opportunity to be a high seed in the ACC tournament went out the door. Without Cuvet, this team loses 35-40 games. Hopefully, Cuvet does not transfer!
Text my boy at the game earlier that this team is 17-35 without cuvet. Just garbage talent with garbage baseball. JD owns this.

I give him a chance to see what we can do in the Acc championship but a real program fires him if it’s a 0-1 BBQ.

Unfortunately we’re not a real program so I expect him back. Let’s all agree he has done absolutely nothing to earn another year but he will more than likely get one

Oh there is no way he is going anywhere with a program that was willing to go in this direction in the first place.

Fire JD, anything less, but it. Sad how far our baseball team fell out of not just being a power, but simply being relevant

Plus no way we are firing JD. As usual, we will toil and suffer for 5 more years until they promote some assistant when JD finally goes. I like to watch Canes baseball but my expectations are always pretty low in recent years.

It’s Little League. Basically someone’s friend or dad coaching and hoping the boys have fun out there.

Miami killed Miami baseball

The worst type of sports outcome, a lame duck coach wins enough to muddy the conversation but accomplishes nothing.
