Vandy/GT/Oregon shouldn’t be ranked above us. 4-1 ATS (3-0 ATS in ranked games). I think Miami should be 7th personally.

I just looked at Vandy’s schedule and they have wins against:

Charleston Southern (3-6)
Virginia Tech (3-5)
South Carolina (3-5)
Georgia State (1-7)
Utah State (4-4)
LSU (5-3, and have not beaten any P5 opponents with a winning record)
Missouri (6-2, have also not beaten anyone with a winning record)

I remember hearing one of the talking heads state this weekend that Vandy’s resume was stronger than Miami’s. GTFOH.

GT and Miami both win in blowouts and both fall a spot in the AP rankings. The SEC narrative is strong.

Again, the only ranking to worry about comes out next week on 11/4. Don't be surprised to see major differences with the AP ranking (i.e. GT and Miami further down in the rankings).

7-8 of the teams ahead of us will lose again. a lot of big games left.

Just keep winning. Close, blowout, running, passing, Defense, come from behind, whatever. Just win. We are in a position where we dont need style points if we keep winning. Honestly I'd love an ACC championship. But for this year and how our schedule has played out and knowing our luck we'd get to that game and 2 key guys would go down for the year and we'd get banged up.

Lets just win, then get healthy for round 1.

How the **** is Oregon ranked at #6??

their 7 wins are:
Montana State (AAC)
Oklahoma State (1-7)
Northwestern
Oregon State (1-7)
Penn State (3-4)
Rutgers (4-4)
Wisconsin (2-6)

their only win against a team with a winning record is against (5-3) Northwestern. BTW Northwestern lost to the green wave of Tulane by 20 points

This is why the margin for error at UM is less than anywhere else. Until we get a HC who acknowledges that style points matter a lot more here, we will always find ourselves on the outside looking in.

i get what youre saying but our margin of victory has nothing to do with Oregon being #6

oregon has played NO ONE

No they don't. We were #2 in the country. The polls have never been a problem for Miami. In fact, they probably OVER rank us more than anything.
