DMoney had a chance to speak with a couple of players at Miami Hurricanes Media Day, where he caught up with Hurricanes defensive lineman Armondo Blount.

My brain broke trying to read that. Either tons of grammatical errors or Blount speaks in double negatives or struggles in interviews. Either way seems kid is locked in and isn’t much for talking. Excited to see how he plays this year

I can see him getting 10-15 snaps a game inside. With Lowe at DE, it's harder to guess snaps outside. This staff is definitely a experience leaning staff, so know that. I believe Lowe and Blount are talented enough young players to play. They just unfortunately play the same spot so I could see Blount inside more. I don't think they will play Lowe inside. I personally don't believe they want to play Simpson this season either.

Sounds like Armondo’s got a great mindset, focused, thankful, and grounded. Keeping your head down and working hard is exactly what you need to do, especially balancing football and school. Definitely respect that hustle.

We need to find ways to get the best on the field . If that is moving Bain inside on passing downs to get some more pressure on the qb than do it . We have to much talent not to find ways to get then all on the field at once . Blunt , Bain , Inside on passing downs lightfoot and Hayden or whoever can be get to the qb in a hurry . A fast package , just an example on passing downs like 3rd and 10 plus yards. Especially vs teams like fsu with a fast qb not so much teams like Nd who prob will run the ball on 3rd and 10 if u do that to much
