Miami basketball SUCKS!

Another topic (thread) that keeps surfacing is the desire or need to offer more scholarships, rather than leave them un-used, even if they are for moderate talents. Some seem to think it is extreme roster mismanagement, others find justification of sorts (or somehow excuse it.)

Besides players that leave for some reason, we seem to have significant injury down time. Perhaps it is the nature of the hard college game. I think our players that look more awkward or stiff or weak than fluid or athletic or strong much of the time possibly are more prone to injury, but that's just a personal opinion.

When we talk about (NCAAT-capable?) line-ups for next season (or other times) it generally omits the likelihood that one or more in the roster is likely to have some injury downtime. 13 scholarships may be a lot, but it's looking like using them all can't be a bad thing even if Coach L may have to handle PT personality disorders that could occur from a larger roster.
