So after eight game and for the third time in four seasons, Miami has clawed back to a 4-4 mark after an underwhelming start to the season. Historically, this is the sixth time since the 2011 season that Miami exited Week 8 at .500.

How does this year's edition compare to the others (2011, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2021)?

Points Allowed: Miami is in the middle of the pack
Points Allowed: This is actually the second best performance of the group. The Canes gave up a disastrous 247 points through 8 games last season, which was the second worst performance in the last twenty five overall seasons

2007 is the only year we didn't get to at least 6 wins. It'll probably come down to the last game vs Pitt to get 6 this year. Gonna be close.

Through 8 games
2007 - one top 10 team played. The last 4 games were against two top 10 teams and a good UVA (48-0)
2012 - three top 12 teams played. The last 4 games were against bad teams!
2019 - two top 25 teams played. The last 4 games were against bad teams!
2022 - maybe one in UNC? The last 4 games are against one top-10 team, two more above 500, and GT.

SOS makes this Offense look even worse! This will be a race to see who has the worst Miami offense since Coker!
