A quick post after today's game.

Offense: The Tyler Van Dyke led Hurricanes are now the sixth most prolific offense in the last twenty five years. Van Dyke's four starts against Power 5 opponents are yielding an average of 35.5 points per game, which beats the entire season average of every Miami team since 2002.

Defense: No change. In regards to points per game, the 2021 Hurricanes rank only behind the freshmen-laden 2012 squad as the version giving up the most total points. If we do not begin to see some stronger efforts, this defense will shatter the average points allowed per game mark for the entire season. Right now the 2012 team has the worst mark at 31 ppg.
