Following today's dominant defensive performance against Georgia Tech:

Points For:
  • Third worst offensive production in the last twenty five seasons. Only the 2006-2007 squad was worse
  • This was the third time this season that Miami has hit 30 or more points, and the first time since week 2
  • Miami achieved thirty or more points 5 times in 2021 and 6 times in 2020
Points Allowed:
  • Seventh worst defensive performance in the last twenty five seasons. The roughing the passer call at the end of the 4th quarter which led to the garbage touchdown was the difference in 2022 Miami being the seventh versus eight worst
  • Miami's defense however is significantly better than the units fielded in the last two years of the Manny Diaz regime
The total 24 point margin of victory is the second lowest positive total in twenty five season, but is actually a slight improvement over last season due to the strong year over year gains in the defense.

The 5-5 record is the third time in five seasons that Miami was .500 at this point in a season.

I don't remember how bad our schedules were in all those years but I will go out on a limb and say this has been our weakest I can remember
