What I find particularly fascinating in terms of roster building is how Coker's failure to recruit wide receivers in 2003-2006 had ripple effects that lasted until at least 2014. Shannon had to oversign in 2008 to compensate, which led to very small classes the next three cycles, which led to Golden having to oversign, which led to smaller classes....ect:
