Miami -17/66.5 GT

I see the spread is now 18.5. I wouldn’t touch it. We could be up 41-17 late and GT scores some garbage time TD and you wouldn’t cover. If we do cover you’re going to sweat this one out.

I hope our team does not look at that spread and get overconfident. Manny should be reminding them that we lost last season and everyone needs to focus play by play. Don't even look at the scoreboard. Pick up your blocks and complete your plays.

The year was 2005...Miami had just beaten VT on the road and came home to face GT at night wearing alternate uniforms.

The omen is bad.
Those stupid one arm Orange sleeve jersey? Terrible.

Would be very uncomfortable either direction with how bad they are and how inconsistent we are

You can catch Covid, wearing a mask, standing by yourself in the same spot where a Covid positive person, also wearing a mask, stood a few minutes earlier. Or by briefly walking by somebody that’s Covid positive, while both of you are wearing a mask. in other words, you can be doing everything right and still catch it. So there is literally no way to know who’s going to be available next Saturday.
But you cut down the odds of infection a lot if you wear a mask.

Every week we give a prediction by how much we are going to beat the opponent. I 've learned MY lesson now. It's nice to dream on beating teams by 3 td's but a win is a WIN. Just win and move on.

Nothing is ever guaranteed but masks cut down the odds, significantly. Especially if both sources are wearing masks. In my practice, we follow CDC guidelines and none of my staff (specialists or administrative) have been infected. My staff see’s hundreds of patients weekly and have been exposed directly with COVID patients (not wearing masks) in their arms crying and were not infected, thankfully. Follow CDC guidelines, wear masks and if possible, eye protection. It works.

I think it would be appropriate to delete this thread due to the latest bad news. What do you think.

Well, it’s good to know the Canes were getting some love and respect from Vegas before the game was canceled. We will see if Vegas still loves us for the December 5th Wake Forest game, provided that the COVID-19 situation doesn’t worsen and wreck our season
