Merging Threads with Previous Ones When News Breaks

I’m not a fan of this.

Look at the recruiting board. Unless you click on a thread, you have no way of knowing that we flipped Skinner. The same thing happened the other night on the main board when Urban got fired.

If threads are going to be merged, the original should have it’s title updated to reflect the latest developments.

Personally, I don’t like mega threads as too much gets lost in them but then I get haters on the opposite end complaining about something being duplicate and it needs to be merged. By the way, @Andrew , do we have a breaking news prefix? It should be limited to legit breaking news - like @nystateofmind stuff
