Disagree. Whipple tried to make Jacory Harris huck it 40 times per game, always throwing deep when the kid didn't have the arm to do it. Didn't believe in running the ball much, either. Always wanted to throw. He's a savant-type who's not as impressive as he thinks he is; as proven by his career since leaving Miami—quarterbacks coach in Cleveland for two seasons, UMass head coach for five years (a second time—with zero success; having coached there 20 years ago with a few good seasons) and now year one back at OC in Pittsburgh for a 5-3 team.

Whipple was overrated at Miami and is even more so now.
