Just so I have this straight. For a DUI in Florida, he'd have to have a blood alcohol level of 0.08, either with the Breathalizer or blood sample. If he refuses, then he can be charged with it based on failing sobriety tests done at the scene?

Exactly right. Some self-righteous weakašś bītćhes had him as good as kicked off the team for drinking half a Dixie cup of diluted cider. Probably the same guys coming up wth a million reasons recruits shouldn't attend Miami because the college experience is much better elsewhere.

The limit is lower for under age drivers. If he refuses, he cannot be charged but will have his license suspended, I believe for a year. If you know you are over the limit, well worth it to refuse and get a suspended license than a DUI.
 
Miami and CG give this school and its students no respect at all. Cops are probably FSU, UF, or even FIU fans. These douches hate UM and everything about it. The students were absolutely HATED while I as there and I don't think anythings changed over the years from what I've seen. They sure like to collect our money, though. A-holes.

I think it's Miami/South Miami PD more so than CG PD.

Didn't claim that THIS case involved CG police. However,they'd be just as quick to ***** this kid as any neighboring department if this happened in their backyard. Doesn't matter whether this incident happened in the Miami area. The result would have been just the same.
