Just people throwing crap against the wall. He literally stepped down hours ago. Nobody knows anything.

I like the Stoops boys, but a really mixed bag as HCs.

In this case think about a couple things. First, he is at Kentucky. Tough place to coach football as the admin really doesn't care too much. Second, he is in the SEC. Tough conference.

BUT:

1. He is in the weaker of the two SEC divisions.
2. In 5 years he is 35-39 and 17-31 in conference.
3. This year he is 9-3, 5-3 in conference.
4. The past two years he was 7-6 overall.

Mark Stoops is a lot like JJ.He's a defensive mastermind and like JJ used to get his *** kicked by much more talented Nebraskas and Oklahomas,Stoops has a good team but can't compete with the SEC elites.Our Defense will be elite under him.
