Posted this as a response in another thread, but based on his total outsourcing the CFP and the no surprise result of that boondoggle, I thought this was deserving of a wider view:

So the guy who worked to reduce Pedo State's penalties, created a tortured excuse as to why they couldn't hammer UNC for academics, yet hammered Minnesota 17 years ago for a similar situation
COLLEGE BASKETBALL; Minnesota Penalized by N.C.A.A. - The New York Times

but conversely used a federal bankruptcy (highly unethical) hearing to hammer Miami after 2 1/2 YEARS is wanting REFORM?!? because the public has lost confidence in cllege sports and the NCAA?!?

Yep, it's if the Captain of the Titanic survived and wanted to head the White Star Lines' navigation and safety program.

Saban's LSU stooge is destroying college athletics, but it's okay because he is "talking reform"

Lord help us, his contract was renewed through 2020!

He should be looking into the education of referee's in the NCAA. In particular, the ACC!

Later for that scumbag. The best thing to come out of his mouth will be his last breath.

As I posted elsewhere, the US Attorney of the Southern District of New York looking to topple Emmert to make a huge media splash (something they have done in the past) is our best chance. Sure hope it doesn't entangle what appears to be an innocent Coach L, but getting rid of lackey Emmert and having the conference bosses deftly afraid of the Feds looking for more heads is our best chance for TRUE reform.

Your scenario happened the last time there was a change at the top of the NCAA...Two for two?

I aint hoping for that, because I'm a God fearing Christian. However, if he were to expire, I wouldn't necessarily be sad about it.

Been on this train for a minute. I hope some change comes soon. As long as he's in charge, you expect Satan and the rest of the confeder$EC to get away with whatever they want in order to stay on top and make everyone rich.

Has it occurred to you that Alabama might be a top 4 team year in and year out? They sure looked better than Clemson yesterday.

So would that make UCF top 3?

Has it occured to you that when you spend so much more than the competion (in some cases DOUBLE) you can hire more coaches, advisors, consultants, tutors, chefs etc?

Do you think the F-15 fighter has a 104-0 Air to Air kill ratio just because of the pilot? How about the AWACS crew that vectored him to the target in the most advantageous way? The intel person who briefed the pilot on what type of adversary aircraft to expect and their weakness. The ammo people who gave the flier working missiles/gun and the crew chief who made sure the jet was ready to go...Lets not forget the security guy who prevented the plane from being hit on the grown by terrorists/insurgents and the person who makes sure the pilot gets paid $$$.

In 2017, Winning is not cheap in the combat or College Football. The NCAA/P5 Conference chiefs make it that way and that benefits the 'Bama's, O$Ucks, and caused the Georgia's of the world to spend more $$$.
