Don't know why Canes fandom couldn't have our cake and eat it too by the school showing both *** and his BFF the door Sunday. No-D's presence and the threat of Wario's hiring is functioning as the proverbial **** in the punch-bowl at an otherwise awesome party.
 
I hope Kareem knocks his *** out Debo style at halftime of the Duke game. Stuff him in a locker and leave him there.
 
Like why doesn't he quit. Doesn't he know we don't want him here? This is insane. But then again him and Al persisted with failure until they got the boot. So am not surprised

What's amazing to me, is Al and Mark both think there is absolutely nothing wrong with their results. Nothing needs to change, it will eventually work. And this is YEAR 5!

Meanwhile, in Memphis ... Where a guy truly did inherit a mess, the team is on a 14 game winning streak; fresh off a 10-win season, is undefeated and ranked in the top 20 ... Just beat a highly ranked SEC team, after spotting them 14 points ... And it's year 4 for him.

Year 5 for Al and Mark ... Best recruiting classes in the Coastal ... 2nd year QB, projected to be an early round draft pick ... And we're 4-3, fresh off the most lopsided loss in history. 1-2 in the conference ... But, yeah, no issues here. Just keep doing what we would do if Al were still here ...

I'll bet one thing.

Dorito won't trot out that 3-4 Pattycake, defend the deep ball defense Saturday. Or the one after that . . . or the one after that . . .

Am I the only one whose "heart doesn't go out to Al and his family"?

He got paid MILLIONS of dollars to coach college football. He makes more in one season than almost everyone on this board will make in a lifetime. Not to mention the millions more he will get paid FOR getting fired.

I also think that he really screwed a lot of these kids over, both in terms of their college football experience and their chances to play professional football (which lets be honest, a lot of these kids are banking on).

So no, I really don't feel very bad for him at all. If you told me I could coach college football for 5 years and get fired and all that would happen is I would get millions of dollars and then have to relocate to my mansion in whichever other city I got hired in, I would take it in a heartbeat.

Sorry if that sounds wrong, but I just really don't feel bad for the guy.
 
Questions should have been directed at why couldn't you stop Clemson and why is it that you don't see a problem with the defense you are running. There is hope for this defense to be good again next season..
