Kick the FG, we go up 12, which takes two TDs to beat. Don't make it on 4th and it takes a TD and a FG. Still, two possessions. Given the time left, highly unlikely to happen either way. Go for it and make it, it's game over.


In that situation, I was fine with the call. It's not like it was 4th down at our own 25.

This is the first time I really like his evals. He hit big in high school and the portal with real contributors everywhere in 2025. Plus some 2024 kids are stepping up. Pretty good lately.

I think we were always going to go for it. Coach just wanted to call the TO first, then run the play after we were settled down and organized. Dawson appeared to have his bi-yearly lerooooy jenkins end of game moment and off the play went with :01 on the play clock. I was in favor of going for it, but rushing the snap, then tossing a moon ball that landed right around the LOS not the best execution.
