"They gave us a tough time early on and credit to them. They had two weeks to prepare for us. We got every wrinkle and call beater that you can imagine. It is awesome to travel 3,000 miles and have the air conditioning busted in the locker room and you have a team that had two weeks to prepare for you. Aside from that, everything was perfectly fine."

we need to put more respect on the win

The biggest obstacle is the OL - cant block any one

The idea that Saben said we have an SEC OL - maybe Miss State but we looked slow & soft

Busted air conditioning in the locker room huh??? Yeah I knew from the first drive that Cal came to play dirty. Crazy how the announcers ignored what Cal players were doing all game.
Sounds like the guy that ran the Boston Garden went to work for them….😜

cmon now ... he dropped back 53 times ... was only sacked 3 ... and lets be honest, atleast one of those should have been a throw away, but because it's cam, we live with him extending plays

I think it was the second drive when the whole DL shifted left right before the snap and a guy came free for a TFL on Martinez I was like “If they are this in tune to what we’re going to do the rest of the night were in trouble 😣

We get everyone's best shot - it's been that way for over 20 years (we've just not been good enough in the last 20 years to consistently overcome it).

also offensively they're two big plays they schemed us up ... it was all preparation on their part, good job by them ... the other long play the guy stepped out of the bounds ... but i doubt that makes the media circuit

I thought in Mario’s presser it was interesting how he said they needed to get the depth more playing time and also said that certain players continue to make mistakes when asked about the unsportsmanlike penalties.

Eh, I’d say 2 of the 3 sacks was Cam trying to extend a play. Good coverage downfield. Their secondary is better than I thought. Sometimes you have to throw the ball away. Might have been one time that the Cal overwhelmed the OL and converged on Cam before he could do anything. And run blocking was excellent. If UM had just run the ball more in the 1st half (yes, even runs up the centers ***) I think we have the lead going into the half. It was the pass plays with throws to the flats , WRs dropping passes, and Cam not taking easy throws that made us give the ball back. Martinez and Fletcher were good for 5 yards a pop. Don’t know why Dawson decided to change it up. But all in all, the OL did its job adequately against a stout defense.
