Mario on ESPN's "Always College Football" with Greg McElroy

It seems to me Mario’s teams perform well in big games, so look for a loss to someone like Cal or a lesser opponent we should beat

You can't win big without elite talent.

This staff is demonstrating upper tier-level talent acquisition. But it won't be enough.

Game day execution and X/O scheme development is still questionable, and a lot of that should fall on coordinators, and I'm looking forward hopefully to improvement on that front this season. (yes, renewed my season tix, thx for the input).

Having said that, and I know "culture" is a term some hold in derision, but this is a new day in CFB. A major aspect of coaching to championship levels is going to be the ability to deal with the transient nature of talent. How well do you take elite talent pieces and mold them into a team. Creating unity and cohesion in the NIL era.

This is no longer the "You're stuck here, so suck it up" days of arcane CFB. Coaches will have to transition to a more NFL caliber mindset of dealing with professional athletes; that is one of the most important aspects of "culture" in this new world. Those who get there first will have the edge.
Hey um, reminder about the dibs I called on your extra FSU ticket 🙃 thanks for renewing
