What are you talking about? Travis Hunter played for free last year, apparently.CU better come up with a lot of NIL money If they want Money McClain.
They are still trying to secure the money to pay Sanders and his staffCU better come up with a lot of NIL money If they want Money McClain.

No way I'm writing Deion off. NIL is likely big for most players, but so is the aura of Prime. I refuse to believe JSU was the highest bidder for HunterAgreed. If he likes Deion, he could have gone to Jackson State. No way Mario and DVD lose out to a Deion led Colorado, if it's not a significant nil deal. Plus, we're likely able to match anything.

Hunter received NIL money from Barstool sports. It was not thru JSU. And presumably he still has the NIL deal even after he transfers so it doesn’t matter where he attends college. This was not about JSU or CU. Hunter wanted to play or Sanders (I refuse to call him Deion or Prime or any other nonsense) and had the financial ability to do so because of Barstool. No way I'm writing Deion off. think $$$$ came from barstool ?, think Bama is the threat for McClainNo way I'm writing Deion off. NIL is likely big for most players, but so is the aura of Prime. I refuse to believe JSU was the highest bidder for Hunter
I did not mean JSU directly paid Hunter. I understand NIL doesn't work like that. I also understand that schools coordinate with "collectives" to orchestrate compensation. Miami certainly does that, but with what appears to often be a collective of one guy.Hunter received NIL money from Barstool sports. It was not thru JSU. My point was simply that I don’t think Hunter would be playing for Sanders and passing up more lucrative opportunities if he didn’t already have his NIL deal in place with Barstool. Sanders alone is not enough of a draw for a player like Hunter to pass up 6 figures. Frankly I don’t think any coach is, though Dabo believes he and God are more important than NIL. Sanders has a similarly over inflated ego but neither if them are sh*t without the financial backing. Kids aren’t stupid and were not alive when Sanders played in the NFL.I did not mean JSU directly paid Hunter. I understand NIL doesn't work like that. I don't know what relationship, if any, JSU/Deion has with Barstool. Maybe none. My point is that kids love the aura of "Coach Prime" and he's going to get some, maybe several, because of that. NIL is a big factor, but so is he.
