The end of the season for a reason. If he gets to 10 wins he safe for another two years. If he drops the two games that most of you think he will his seat is boiling hot going into next year and whomever doesn’t think that is just ignorant just like you all thought Shannon was never gonna get fired. You all thought Diaz was never gonna get fired. And I know you I don’t wanna hear this, but beck cost us the Louisville game. And his lack of anticipation kills big play potential sometimes.

Having said that Mario does sit on too many leads and is far to complacent, especially with any lead, so yes, they both hold us back in very different ways.

Beck costing us a game would equate to Mario costing us a game. He went out and got Beck for a large chunk of change. You can also pull a qb, OL etc if they aren’t playing to the standard. Yet to see that with the players making the most mistakes.

I said weeks ago that the OL is worst coached unit on the roster. I was negged.

The situations are completely different. Because it’s not just about the coach getting fired or not it’s whether the money stays if this coach gets fired, which is very questionable.

This is a round about way of defending g Cristobal. Every player on the roster he brought in.

Next thing, any one who think we can win with Beck slinging the ball all over, is a clown. We are struggling because we cant create any big runs in the run game, because we refuse to run anywhere other than up into the DTs. Which ever way u dice it, its on Cristobal. He can hang on for as long as he likes. If he decides he is not gonna change $h!t, we are just gonna watch it play out like Golden refusing to fire NO D. Its all on him. Change the fkn run scheme or get lost.

He can lose all 4 games to end the season and whatever ****** bowl game, and he won’t be fired. Mirabal won’t be let go unless Mario comes to some sort of revelation. At best Dawson is gone.

As for those who keep asking about the money, the money likely stays put with a 10-2 record, runs thin with dropping all 4 games.
It goes away with him being fired. New coach will have Golden level of backing and spending, so hire a guy who can do a lot with very little

Sounds like the Mario mindset. Play scared, play not to lose. That doesn’t often work.
No, it sounds like recognize the reality of who the boosters are who brought him here and how closely they tied the money that came was directly related to him. I’m not just making that up.

If those boosters don’t convert from “ if Mario can’t do it, no one can do it” to “Mario is incapable of getting us to the next step, but the next step is possible if we keep funding” - then all bets would be off in a post Mario world, whether I like it or not.

I don’t think you’re making it up. I also see that spending tons of money the way they did, is not resulting in even an ACC champ appearance year 4. I hope to God we find a way there this year or that if Mario stays he finds a way next year. Not holding my breath though.

you guys thinking mario seat wil get even the slightest of warm is hilarious. Aside from him committing an actual crime with students his seat will be ice ice ice ice cold.

alumni
recruits
buyout mega
money he brings in bc he's alumni
the fact that if he's gone so is any sort of money for the program. (including NIL)

Mario has to do what Jim Harbaugh did after their 2020 season. That was a bad season for Michigan, and he did some true inner thinking and decided to change his approach at Michigan, and then that of course led to three straight playoff appearances and a national championship. If Mario wants to survive here, he’s going to have to do that. We’ll see if it happens, but that’s his only chance because what he is doing, is not working from a game planning and coaching standpoint.

You are 100% right. I’ve seen college teams in the past (Michigan & ND come to mind) not meet preseason expectations but rally to finish the season strong. I’ve never seen Miami do it. I hope this is the year.
Last time we did this was 2016. Won 5 straight to close the year. AR was the baller that helped it to happen. I hope Toney can help do the same.

Beck played terribly against Louisville; however, the offense doesn't help quarterbacks or open guys up, so when game managers like Beck have to improvise or create plays themselves, turnovers happen. Add the penalties and predictability, games like this are bound to happen unless we have QBs who play off script, like Ward, who is a once-in-a-lifetime QB.
