at 2:45 when they ask him about recent performances and the impact on recruits. I imagine how hard that question it is to answer at a time like this. He is laughing because we all know it ***** up recruiting but he found a way to get out of that question. Dude is smart. Its a shame that Richt is ******* him over.

Have a hard time seeing him back next year. Then we can all look forward to him naming Rumph/Patke as his replacement!!!

You make a good point.

There is no one to promote to DC should Manny leave. And, he might take a few assistants with him. Banda and Patke have long ties to Manny and could very well follow him out the door.

As frustrated as we all are with MR, there's no way this actually happens. We all see that the offensive side of the ball has passed him by but I don't think he's crazy enough to think that he has a clue about defensive football. In my view, he would hire another strong defensive coordinator with a similar attacking system who would then bring in his guys. Turns out he was right on the Manny hire and I think he would get it right again. I don't have any names but I'm certain that they are out there.

• Diaz on the criticism from the UM fanbase in recent weeks: “I know we have to play better,” Diaz said. “Everybody should be angry. What happened last Saturday is wrong. We have to fix it. We have to get playing better and that is all that matters to me.”

Now if only our Head coach felt this way! Losing to VA and BC was bad enough but losing to Duke at home is beyond infuriating. At least to us it is but to look at Richt one would think he honestly is okay with it. There is nothing that can be done to Richt this year but if he thinks he has a life time contract with Miami (while continuing to have seasons like this one) he is in for a reality check.

While Miami's BOT and Admin are known to be patient they do have their limits. I believe if Richt continues to struggle and the fans abandon this coach (like we did with Golden) it will force a change come 2021.

I want Richt to succeed because I think he has done great things on and off the field since 2016 (setting aside this year of course) but to have a season like this one is very unacceptable. For his sake, I hope he knows that.

If we lose to GT I don't think there will be anyone that hopes Mark Richt is the answer. I know I know there shouldn't be anyone now but you know we still have the slurpers on this board.

Its been known how sharp minded coach diaz is and he understands that the coaching staff is a team too, he's not shallow to look at it like coach richt is messing him over, he's the one who hired em. That Fsu game was a team victory, sometime the offense might have to bail out the defense and vice versa, this year, the offense is just not there yet and those who were paying attention knew this year may have turned out like this, especially with Ahmon, irvin and poledney being out. 3 guys who would've added more physicality to the offense.

He will be a great HC one day. Smart, knows how to differentiate big picture va small picture , willing to adapt, aggressive , etc.
