programs in Miami played a more aggressive style of offense than UM did. The new OC will bring an offensive scheme that will make the program attractive to the playmakers we have been losing to other schools.
Facts, completely agreeMiami has always needed to play a style that closely resembles what is happening in Youth and High School football.
Here is the one issue...
Its not like Manny's style of defense has had any tangible results for the defense at this point on the recruiting trail. Miami has had RJ McIntosh and Gerald Willis beast in the ACC and we've still got to go to NYC to find iDL recruits. Despite the Turnover Chain and a pretty fun defensive culture, we're still missing on Patrick Surtain, Tyson Campbell, Akeem Dent, and Tyrique Stevenson (in theory).
We still need to see this style bear fruit on the recruiting trail.
Miami needs to boss recruiters. Its not all about Xs and Os. Get your OC. But you need to fill out the rest of the staff with boss recruiters. The entire roster, IMO, lacks real recruiters. Dugans and Hartley were probably the best on the offense, but this year was so bad offensively on the recruiting trail, you can't justify keeping either around and they weren't great recruiters anyway. Merely above average and have done nothing in this current class. We need real hustlers to recruit.
Where on this staff is your Tosh Lupoi? Your JaJuan Seider? Your Corey Raymond? Your Dameyune Craig?
Miami doesn't have these types and they need them BADLY.

Long overdue!Spread times are here for Miami
Does Realus transfer out?Im sure he heard alot of laughing from city coaches about how crap our offense was...
Dude knows kids want to play fast, exciting brands of football that will showcase their speed and skill
Not line up like its 1970/80 with two TEs and a FB leading off
Does Realus transfer out?
True. But the reality is young HS kids these days don't know what a winning Miami team looks like. The only connotation they have between Miami and winning are tales their fathers and uncles tell them. Kids want to go where they can win. And recruiting is so different now that every big school can recruit every area. The days of all the bluechip sofla talent wanting to just blindly go to Miami are long gone. Until we show them how a winning Miami program looks, we aren't going to land many surtains and campbells of the world over schools like bama and uga.Miami has always needed to play a style that closely resembles what is happening in Youth and High School football.
