I think it’s a similar situation to Georgia after richt left and Kirby took over. Mario recruits based on relationships and relentlessness on the trail.

As far as the less with more/more with less argument that’s solely going to depends on the schemes he runs and coordinators he hires. I don’t see us doing more with less with chud running the offense.. if he hires Jeff Lebby or something similar.. ya we could probably significantly out play our projection.
 
This is tough. I like Mario for his recruiting and development but he needs strong coordinators and he's lacking as a game day coach. Lane's offense would kill it here but will he recruit at the level that Mario would? I'm sure he'd do fine on the offensive side but what about the defense?
