Malik needs to RUN Sat. night....

I have faith in Malik but not the play calling... The Malik FSU game told me all I need to know... Richt was scared and Malik was like **** it, lets air it out...

I just watched the Clemson/VT game and if Malik can run a bit on Sat. night and make the VT defense at least respect that, it will go a long way in helping us win. Clemson QB was running all night on them. Thoughts?
If he runs much more than he has during first 7 games it probably means our receivers are probably covered and our online probably not protecting him in the pocket. Both scenarios mean we are getting whipped by their secondary and their front 7. Homer has to be successful running and Rosier do what he has done in other games, running to get out of trouble.

VT has played two Offenses with a pulse WV and Clemson. Both teams had success moving the ball. Lets see what Miami can do Saturday night. Does WV and Clemson have better skill guys than us. I take our receiving corp over those two teams.

I think the more applicable questions is, "Does WV and Clemson have better trench guys than us"?
Clemson yes, WVU about the same.

Running QB is not our offense. It is the offense of Clemson. I would say Rosier has to make proper reads in the RPO.

Agree.

Also, Virginia Tech is going to stack the box and work to shut down Homer and runs by Rosier—leaving man coverage and forcing Rosier to get it done through the air.

Run if there's an opening (opposed to forcing a pass), but as mentioned above—Miami isn't an offense that runs its quarterback. That's not going to start now.

Play smart on offense and take what is there.
