Yeah, saw him get thrown down, spun around and just flat out demolished on some plays. I can’t think of any reason to why he started other than preserving the other linemen from injury, it has to be the only reason right.48 hours later and this is biggest mind blowing blunder…A reminder that he started at LG against Rutgers. The OL whisperer chose him.. a marginal G5 player at best. 5’10” 250lbs of fat, slowness and uselessness.

yeah I figure both keontra and cristobal started cause of a discipline thing with cloyd & Mccoy. otherwise it makes no sense.Maybe he was starting because the other guy needed accountability? Like what we're saying about George still walking out there.
But yeah, he does suck.

Not just that play.... seemed we ran to the left a lot, to the right...not so much.yeah I figure both keontra and cristobal started cause of a discipline thing with cloyd & Mccoy. otherwise it makes no sense.
but we still played cloyd & Mccoy, yet chose not to have Mccoy in at guard on that 4th down play when we ran a play assuming cristobal would block his guy. so the whole thing still doesn't make a lot of sense
Absolutely. I'm all for playing anyone and everyone in a game like that, with limited snaps. However, you have to still try to win. Having him out there all game long did nothing to help us win.I would of been cool with a “Rudy” like situation that they gave him a series. But playing the entire game????!!! Gtfoh
It tells you how serious the coaching staff took that Bowl game. I assume starting him was a reward for all of his hard work on the Scout team - that or it was an opportunity for him to suit up, cos he never will again.Yeah, saw him get thrown down, spun around and just flat out demolished on some plays. That’s my fear. Our hardest workers are still not our most talented players.Maybe he was starting because the other guy needed accountability? Like what we're saying about George still walking out there.

Winning is level 2 importance. Level 1 is physicality, transparency, honesty and competition. Not sure Lou helps us with any of those, though.Lmao honestly it’s so funny and sad like $80 million to start his nephew…does Mario really care about winning games???
