Emmert runs the NCAA and would never allow LSU to suffer at all. He would never allow the SEC to undergo any financial harm at all.

Look at Emmert's background. What school ties does he have?
  • "In 1999, Emmert hired Nick Saban as football coach. LSU won the BCS Championship in 2004 under Saban's tutelage."
  • "The graduation rate of the LSU football team, among the lowest in the SEC when Emmert arrived, was among the highest by 2004. In 2001–02, a university instructor made accusations of academic fraud in the school's football program" So either Emmert literally made an already corrupted investigated institution well really quickly or it's more likely nothing changed.
  • "At the time, LSU was already on NCAA probation due to violations in the men's basketball program for violations that predated Emmert's employment. A university-led investigation into the academic fraud allegations found only minor violations. The report stated, 'Despite isolated incidents, the allegations were largely unfounded.'"
  • "The NCAA accepted LSU's finding and self-imposed minor penalties (loss of two football scholarships) and declined to put the school on probation. Subsequently, two women sued the university for forcing them from their jobs as a result of whistleblowing about the academic fraud. The lawsuits were settled for $110,000 for each person."
  • He runs the NCAA now.
Are we to believe that Emmert would allow Tate to play and investigate LSU? If the past is any indication then no.

NCAA cleared Javonte Smart to play despite being a player mentioned in a FBI investigation

NCAA was notified in November about a $800,00 embezzlement from a foundation by a major LSU booster. One instance of a LSU athlete receiving money and one instance of an athlete’s parent receiving money. And hundreds of thousands of dollars of gift cards purchased. The NCAA decided to investigate Kansas and Georgia Tech, not LSU.

So, no, NCAA is not going to do anything. But LSU is now currently involved in 2 FBI investigations

Mark Emmert should of been fired with his handling of our case and **** storm that occurred.

The fact that he wasn’t relieved of his duties tells you all you need to know.

And of course it was all swept under the rug like nothing happened. Yea a few low level heads rolled but they tried to burry us illegally..... and no repercussions happened.

We can also thank pussyfooted Blake for that. That man has no balls or integrity. Should of been a major lawsuit.

Am surprised we didn’t sue the NCAA for that mess. We definitely SHOULD sue them for the disaster they made out of the basketball program this year and their actions over Martell’s transfer. Enough is enough. Jerry Tarkanian successfully sued them. We can too.
