So you're telling me that a coach who has spent the majority of his time in the NFL, and who only had 1 year of prior coaching experience at an SEC school, has SUDDENLY turned into LSU's Cheatin' Coach?

It’s true the NCAA is a ******* joke, but if he is good at his job I see we kick the tires. It’s not like any of us have been all that pleased with our OL for the past 10 years or so.

I haven’t seen nor read anything published anywhere stating, or even theorizing, why Cregg was fired. Where did you hear or read that compliance had turned up some issues? Do you have a link?

While compliance may be a logical inference based on such a sudden firing, I have yet to see that even speculated about anywhere, except for your post.

sure. It's on their 247 board. Long thread. Their 247 guys are pretty funny - they pull no punches. A couple of their "insider guys" were pretty up front about what they had been told/had heard. No one there is disputing who it was related to. The unknown is how serious and what, if any, the punishment will be. Maybe firing Cregg was an "offering" or Orgeron trying to get out in front and look penitent.

yea LSU is ****ed off he didn't give the kid the last payment before he signed with Clemson....
