Lowe - Medical redshirt? Can he play vs OSU?

He’s reportedly been 100% for some time now….supposedly.

Personally, I wouldn’t put him in but that’s just me

I can’t see a kid having shoulder surgery being 100 until Spring at best. It took me 9-12 months to get to 100 after both of mine.

Structurally- he should be 100%.
Muscle- he couldn’t lift for 2-3 months.
Range of motion- this is the biggest concern. If he doesn’t have good range he could damage it much easier.

Yes but he isnt practicing unless cleared. Maybe the reports are wrong, and he’s not practicing. Maybe if he is he’s just doing light drills. But if he’s a full go in practice he can play. Otherwise why risk further injury as you have stated.

He is practicing but I can tell you he isn’t 💯. Zero chance of it. That doesn’t mean he should be held out. It just means he isn’t able to do everything he could at 100. Thus, he is risking injury some but playing ball is risky.
