Just booked my flight for the game. Really looking forward to this as I hear its a great place to see a Thursday night game. Anyone else headed up for the game?

I'll be there for sure .... God do I hate Tech but if you've never been to a Thursday night game there you're in for a **** of a time .... It gets WILD in that mf !!! ... They also talk all kinds of **** too so Definatly be ready for that ... It's gonna be a great time you'll enjoy it !
 
I was there in 99 when they pulled away from us and poor Ken Dorsey got thrown to the wolves. Hard to imagine him turning into the QB that won so many games in a row that night. That place was FUN, though. Good fans, for the most part. Beautiful campus. You'll have a great time.
 
I'm making the road trip for sure. Let me know if anyone is setting up a tailgate!

Going to see Miami there on a night game is on my bucket-list. I'm going to drive to ND game as well.

If Golden was coach I wouldn't bother, but Richt has me pumped for the season.

Yep. College classes out there get cancelled for the day and the bars are packed as early as noon. They talk all kinds of ****. Even little kids walking around yelling "sucks to be U" to me a few years ago when were going through all that sanction BS.

You should go to a game at Maryland, they make the vt people look like the nicest folks around. They actually mocked us about Brian Pata right after he got killed. Pure class.
 
Campus is kind of dumpy but the surrounding area is really nice. Blue ridge mountains

Was looking at driving over after work, only a half day, but tickets are $65 and parking passes are $60+. Not sure about that now
 
Was there a few years back when we had jacory and Lamar Miller great place to watch a game and I have to give it to them for a team that has never won the big one they are loud and dedicated fans

Dang really ?? ... I've been to countless games there and don't think I've ever paid to park ... Usually just park a little bit away and walk through the campus to the stadium

I was told there is RV Parking up the hill about 15 minute walk and its $20 bucks to park there.
