The baseball team has been routinely beat by local in state rivals UF and FSU over that time span as well. UF has bounced us from the post season three times in that time span and once we were eliminated by the almighty Bears of Missouri State. The baseball team has steadily declined both offensively and defensively, but very noticeably defensively over the last few years. Yet, somehow, this is rewarded with an extension.
