Son of my dads close friend.

Yall know me on this board from trying to get my fam just pointers or an offer and he ended up within a year odf becoming a hs all american and may be a lottery pick.

LJ was a pretty good player as well.

This is the Houston connection...BUT I HOPE THIS LEADS TO US MINING SOME IN MY COUNTRY OF THE BAHAMAS. The raw talent in bball remains there.

My old man passed but VJ was the last one he was in on...and looked how it worked out.

LJ Dad played with Klay Thompson dad so their bahamian bball royalty and Miami Jackson alumni.

Hope he is in on guys like WHITFIELD CHING for 26

I am very excited with all the moves being made so far. Their is a lot of reason for optimism with the program right now. I can't wait to see how the rest of this roster is filled out. I am very impressed so far. All this being said, we have to see how Jai does on the court as a HC. I am fully supportive of him. Go Canes!

I love bringing a guy is the general manager for a national team. When coach Cal was at Kentucky he became the head coach of the Dominican republic national team. Anyone know why? There was a certain 8th grader that he got to work with who later became a McDonalds all American and played for him at Kentucky. Karl Anthony Towns. He was named to their national team at 16. Coach Cal worked with him for 2 years (I believe) before he ever stepped foot in college. If this helps us get our foot in the door with any prospects it’s a solid move just on that.
