First and foremost, he sounded offended that anyone could possibly challenge his brilliance.

He is a stubborn ******* that thinks he is smarter than EVERYBODY. He either did not want to or could not explain the formation or theory behind the alignment.

I can understand why the team quit on him. He refuses to put his players in aggressive positions to be successful. Instead, he wants to play it ultra conservative and pray the other teams makes a mistake. It's the ultimate loser mentality.

Be prepared for a terrible season ahead....nothing will change.

Al Golden doesnt know ****, all he knows is to say stupid *** buzz words like "roaring" and "money downs," dude is clueless about football, especially how to manage a game
 
He's a former TE from PSU trying to coach a defensive scheme he learned from Al Groh. Need I say more?

Can't even explain it. Put the defense in position to be successful and win. Put them in position to have to guess right and your 6-7.

He modeled his entire coaching career after Joe Pa. You ever see how joe pa would tee off on interviewers who dared to question his wisdom? Eventually the local beat writers just stopped questioning paterno.
 
Somebody should point out to AL that beating GT had nothing to do with his defense.
Look at the yardage and points they gave up. Winning those games was all on the offense.
 
A coach who has something of significance on his resume could take that approach. Al doesn't have anything. If Golden was a winner, he could tell the world to kiss his *** and all would be fine in Cane nation.
 
Leave those guys alone. They are "working their tails off."

How many times did that idiot say that during the interview. I wanted to reach through my computer and choke him.

When he was trying to say the ball carrier was going to be barreling through with all his power and weight and Big O said it was one yard I **** near died.

GT is on the one yard line we have players 5 yards deep in the end zone.
