Lines Moving To Pickem By Tomorrow (Canes -3 now 😳)

I keep telling people, look at Oklahoma. Yes, they beat Ohio State but they have trailed or been tied with significantly inferior teams throughout the season and yet nobody gets on them the way they get on us. We are over achieving, in my opinion, but we are certainly better than the dead road kill most of the media is portraying us as. I think people who say Vegas doesn't know what to make of us are off base. I think they know exactly what to make of us. We will win our games but when we are giving a lot of points take it. When we are underdogs in conference bet us. 24-16 Good GUys!

Against BC, WV and Clemson, VT gave up an average of 150 yards ON THE GROUND per game.

And? UNC was way worse and we only rushed for 55 yards.

Like I been saying all year. Our O-line is the equalizer for everyone we play.

Public on VT but line moving in Miamis favor. As good a sign as possible. The left tackle being out maybe factoring in.

Very interesting trend were seeing here with the point spreads. I am a student here and have noticed something similar. After UNC and early in the week, everyone has been down on this team. The mood and confidence level of the student body has strangely gone up over the corse of the week. Now I'm happy people are confident but it's still strange how the mood has shifted so much in a week. Maybe the homecoming festivities had something to do with it. Maybe something is just in the air, and that Vegas, the student body and many more have just caught on. Either way I'll take it. I like our chances tonight a lot. 30-16 Canes win

That point swing is amazing, never have seen it without some major injury, suspension, etc

5.5 to 6 point line move, I've only seen it a few times in big games with many years of betting, (without injuries). Just not sure if it's the public betting Miami because they haven't lost yet or the big boys pounding it. There is really no way of knowing since I haven't been hanging around the Hilton in the big boys room, ( now westgate). Real line moves like this by the big boys win at a high percentage.

Common sense tells me the public is on VT. All week ESPN has pumped into their brains how overrated we are & how we’ve been just sneaking by. I think this is your classic RLM & I’m happy to be on the good side of it.

Never heard of you, but ok.
Are you TheOriginalCane a/k/a ORI from CaneSport? My bad, I thought you were, you have similar posting styles and the usernames were similar. I was PoptimusPrime over there many years ago. If not, nevermind.

Not me.

There’s an @OriginalCane that posts here or TheOriginalCane

Well Jg, if the public is betting it up it doesn't mean ****, they usually lose. Well I'm not so sure and there is no way of knowing unless you are on the inside. Common sense tells you the public is on VT and the line moves 6 points towards Miami? Could I ask where you get your information from? Have you ever been on the inside? I have! Not bragging about it, just stating a point.

I just based MY OPINION off of public perseption of MIAMI & %’s off a few sites I look at.

So you think the public is on Miami? After hearing on ESPN all week that were frauds? I can’t see it my man.

ESPN sucks, they have never been taken seriously. Of course someone is on Miami, we just don't know who. When the public see's a team that hasn't lost at home going against a team that has lost one, much of the time they bet it if the line is right and it was. Like I said there is zero chance of knowing this without being on the inside. Maybe both are betting it. A couple years ago I could have given you the answer.

I said in another thread I was going to bet this game on Monday when it was plus 3 where I bet. I decided not to because I don't enjoy watching Miami and betting on them. I have twice this year and won both but this game is too big, not supposed to bet on the team you love, my first rule. Broken it twice this year already. Go Canes!

I'm honestly starting to think you aren't really a Miami fan

Wait... So I'm just suppose to believe playing a better defense with better talent miraculously mean we're going to run all day on VT because they give up 150 on the ground when we only ran for 50 something yards vs a team that gave up 205 yards on the ground a week prior? Okay.

That would be me.

What's up Poptimus? Glad to hear from you, it's been a long time since we tailgated at the OB.

Come on over to the Gator Tears thread and enjoy the show.

Watch the line movement overnight Friday into Saturday. The V-Tech line moved from Tech -2.5 to Canes -3 in 24 hours. **** load of sharp money came in late on Miami.

We're now 4-4 ATS this year and we've only hit the over once the entire season.

Bet the under next week too.
