Shocker! Had he committed to UGA yesterday he would’ve moved up to number one. The recruiting sites can F off because it’s a bunch of dudes that never played the game setting these rankings who are being pushed by agendas of other programs. We got him, and that’s all that matters! 🙌

Yeah that's BS.

He was coming to Miami for the longest in the last week or so UGA became the leader.

They have Dereon Coleman as a 3 star and Javian Mallory as a 3 star both in Ivins region too. Disgusting agenda.

Clemson and Bama are going hard after Mallory and 247 says he is a 3
star.

They updated it officially this morning but they've been discussing the rankings for weeks. Obviously I know you know this but I need to say it, it's not like they all got on a Zoom call at 7am today and shuffled up the rankings and released new ones at 8am.

***As long as our evals are good *** I have no issue with this every now and then. Less NIL expense for us. @DMoney swears by Ervin even though he's only a 3-star. More Coopers, Bains, OJFs, Bells are awesome. At the same time, we still need to win our fair share of the top 100/300 battles and consistently stay in the Top 10 recruiting classes to stack talent and make the playoffs.

I think the zoom call started at about 4:15pm ET yesterday. Might've been a Teams call though. I'll have to check with my source and get bak to you.

When all the UM crystal balls were coming in just before he committed, I thought I saw a tweet (or retweet) from Gaby warning that Cantwell would be dropping in the new rankings and it was "unrelated" to his upcoming commitment. Cleanup in isle 5 mode.

However, the tweet is gone from his timeline. Anyone remember it or archived it?

It's a stupid business model. Cantwell committed, so there's no drama and not much they can do for clickbait. If they push other uncommitted recuits up, then they can sell the high-stakes drama of who'll get the recruit. It also matters what programs are going after the recruit. Before Cantwell's commitment, he had a who's who of suitors, hence the high ranking. Now they'll promote the uncommitted guys with a good list of programs. It's all bullsh!t.
 
Even more fun... like that's wild.

First off super teams aren't good for the sport and secondly, what is so wrong with this and there is no evidence or proof that Miami paid more or at the very least equal to.
