I was happy to see some changes in personnel and what appeared to be scheming. I was also happy to get the W, but I also gotta admit that Duke really wasn't all that good or physical for that matter. We shoulda put them away easily, but let them hang around. Still don't like the DB's back peddling 20 yards and giving up so much yardage. A good spread set team would grow fat on that scheme. Offensively we still too inconsistent, rather it be blocking, play calling, bad reads or dropped balls. We don't played like a well coached or as they say, a well oiled machine. I'll admit I'm one one of the more vocal about getting rid of Al, but if we can't or won't, I think changes in OC, DC and some staff on both sides would make a huge difference. If I can give Stubborn Al any advice it would be, "you're only as good as the people around you". He needs to realize he's a good administrator, but terrible coach and would be better served to surround himself with better coaches.
